Diver exploring the sinkhole Lagoa Misteriosa, Jardim, Mato Grosso do Sul, Brazil.
At that time the site was closed for diving, but a friend managed to get us a special permit to dive there.
To get down to the water there is a 70m steep staircase. Very fun to get all the way down there to find out we there missing some equipment, not. At the depth of 8-meter the lagoon divides itself in two tunnels, each one with about 10 meters in diameter, one of them descends vertically to over 240 meters of depth. The treetrunk is stuck at about 18m.
Picture is taken in Lagoa Misteriosa, Jardim, Mato Grosso do Sul, Brazil.
