Piraputanga, (Brycon hilarii)=(Brycon microlepis) swimming above the vegetation (mainly Echinodorus sp. and Hydrocotyle sp.) in the source pool of Rio Sucuri. You can also see the remains of a fallen tree.
We were so fortunate to obtain special permit to dive in the source pool to Rio Sucuri.
Picture is taken in Rio Sucuri, Bonito, Mato Grosso do Sul, Brazil.
